Case Study 4 - Yewdale Drive, Failsworth


We have secured planning permission for a part double and part single storey rear extension to a detached house.  The Inspector noted that due to the proposed extension resulting in an increased separation distance when compared to the existing situation, the extension would not increase the sense of enclosure, overbearing, overshadowing or a loss of outlook to the neighbouring property.  The presence of tall landscaping along the shared boundary was not considered to be an influential factor.
